Hello! I hope your week got off to a great start! I am going to make this a very quick post - it is late and I need to get to bed! Greeting From Sue Sylvester!

Greetings! If you are a Glee fan, you may recognize the lady (?) I turned Paul from The Greeting Farm's new Roll Call set into. (If you are not a Glee fan, I really hope your are not offended! I tried to find a Sue Sylvester quote that made some sense on a card and wasn't too offensive, but she's just that kind of person!) All it took to make Paul into Sue was a tiny amount of hair extensions and some eyelashes.

    The Details:
Stamp: Paul from Roll Call (The Greeting Farm)
Paper: Dirty Rodeo (The Greeting Farm), Real Red, Whisper White (SU), White for image (Paper Trey Ink)
    Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
    Copics:
    Skin: R00,E00,E11,R20
    Hair: E50,E53,E55

    It's Saturday Sketch Time!

Hiya! Pam has another great sketch for you to try at Club Anya and Friends today! I used Odette from the new Roll Call set to make a "thank you" card for someone who helped me out a lot at work earlier this week when I was not feeling well. I used a little of the new Cosmo Cricket DeLovely paper, which I love, but I toned it down a bit by adding a black and white print from Making Memories. The black and white striped piece is two strips of Washi tape (which The Greeting Farm now carries.) I really like this tape because I can reposition it easily if I don't put it down quite right, and it is so pretty I can use it like ribbon strips!

    The Details:
Stamp: Roll Call - The Greeting Farm
Paper: Cosmo Cricket DeLovely, Making Memories, White (Paper Trey Ink)
    Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
    Copics:
    Skin: R00,E00,E11,R20,FV2,BV000
    Hair: C3,C5,C7,C9,110
    Clothes: C5,C7,C9, Y04,Y06,Y08
Misc: Scallop Edge Punch (SU), Washi Tape, Nestabilities Circle and Scallop Circle, Sakura Black Glaze Pen, White Gel Pen

Thanks so much for visiting me today! I hope you get a chance to try the sketch at CA&F, too!

A Name Tag and Kitty Ride

Hello! Earlier this year I made name tags for myself and the other ladies I work with using stamped images. I work at a school and one of the students asked me to make her one, too. I had actually forgotten about it, but she reminded me today and as she is a 6th grader and getting ready to move on to Middle School next year I thought I would surprise her with it tomorrow. It is very simple - just the stamped image (one of the fabulous images by ching-chou kuik) cut out and mounted on colored card stock, with her name written on the bottom. I did add lots of sparkle!

    The Details:
Stamp: ching-chou kuik's Fantasy Art Collection (sheet 14, Plate 43) - Sweet Pea Stamps
Paper: Classic Yellow Green (Prism), White (Paper Trey Ink)
    Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
    Copics:
    Skin: R00,E00,E11,E13,RV10
    Hair: V000,V01,V04
    Roses and Background: Y02,Y08,V01,YG00,YG03,YG25,YG17
Misc: Diamond Stickles, Sakura Clear Stardust Gel Pen

The next card also uses an image from ching-chou kuik's Fantasy Art Collection. This one is called Fly Dandelions and I loved this image so much as soon as I saw it! The beautiful fairy holding onto the sweet kitty, surrounded by dandelions just makes me smile!

    The Details:
Stamp: Fly Dandelions - ching-chou kuik's Fantasy Art Collection (sheet 13, Plate 42) - Sweet Pea Stamps
Paper: Koshi - Basic Grey, Orchid Opulence, Basic Black (SU), White (Paper Trey Ink)
    Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
    Copics:
    Skin: R00,E00,E11,E13,R20
    Hair: B91,B21,B63
    Clothes:V12,V15,V04
    Cat: W0,W1,W3,W5,W8,V04,V06,V09
    Background: G20,G21,B91,B63,V04
Misc: Stardust Stickles, Ribbon (Offray), Brad (Basic Grey)

ATS Wednesday Challenge - Dry Embossing

Hello! It's me again! Yep, my second post of the day! My card this time is for All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge - dry embossing! I love the look of dry embossing and had such a fun time making this little scene!

The light blue piece in the background was embossed with Spellbinder's Sea Scape Impressablities. I embossed the "sand" and the sun with Cuttlebug folders. The ocean waves behind her were made with a Fiskars punch.

    The Details:
Stamp: CC Designs Honey Bikini, AmyR Beach Sentiments - All That Scraps
Paper: My Little Shoebox, Baja Breeze, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise - (SU), White (Paper Trey Ink)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie

Misc: Terra Cotta and Stream Dimensional Pearls, Corner Rounder (SU), Swiss Dot and Swirl Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug), Sea Scape Impressabilities (Spellbinders), Sun and Wave punch (Fiskars), Stardust Stickles, Ribbon (SU)

    WCW Summer Fun

Hiya! After today we only have one more school day, then it is summer vacation! Yeah! Speaking of Summer....today's Wild Card Wednesday challenge at Club Anya and Friends is all about sunshine and summertime! We are asking that you use a summer theme and at least one shade of yellow.

Last summer we got new next door neighbors. Their teenage son spent the summer shooting hoops in their driveway until after 10PM most nights (being Alaska, the sun doesn't set here until well after midnight mid summer!) So now, one of the things I think of when I think of summer is basketball! I used sweet little Dylan from the new Roll Call set and made a little mini scene with the sun behind him (I just remembered I meant to give him grass and I totally forgot!)

    The Details:
Stamps: Dylan and Sentiment from Roll Call - The Greeting Farm
Paper: We R Memory Keepers, Candle Glow MD, Intense Orange, Classic Yellow Green (Prism), White for image (Paper Trey Ink) White for Label (SU)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Basic Black and Pumpkin Pie (SU)
    Copics:
    Skin: R00,E00,E11,R20
    Hair: E44,E47,E49
    Clothes: G02,G05,G09 all w/YG03,YG25,YG17 over them, Y21,Y26
Misc: Dimensional Pearls, Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels, Fiskars Sun Punch

I really hope you get a chance to play with us! You can check out all of the details at Club Anya and Friends.

Monday Mania - This Is Me

Hello! I hope your weekend was great! This is the last week of school here before Summer vacation, so I know it's going to be a crazy week with lots of end of the year activities.....Today's Monday Mania challenge at Club Anya comes from Shaela and is a "This is Me" challenge. Here is Shaela's description,"Create a project that portrays who you are. You can make a scrapbook layout, card, altered item, gift set... any kind of paper project. It can be done in your favorite colors, using your favorite CA&F image, a project that displays a cherished past-time... whatever describes you!! Please include a brief explanation in your details when you upload it to the gallery."

First I made Rockstar Anya (my favorite Anya) into a self portrait of me by giving her a rounder body and glasses and dressing her like me. Then I used my favorite colors – dark red, orange and brown. There is sewing because that is another hobby that I spend a lot of time doing. And finally, the skulls and “Keep Rockin’” are because in my head I am still 17!!

    The Details:
Stamps: Rockstar Anya, Anya Says - The Greeting Farm
Paper: My Minds Eye (Orange and Skull Strip), Dark Chocolate, White (Paper Trey Ink)
    Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
    Copics:
    Skin: R00,E00,E11,R20
    Hair:E02,E08,E09,E18
    Clothes: C0,C1,C5,C7,C9,R29,R39,R89
Misc: Brown Felt (Paper Trey Ink), Sewing Machine

I hope you will join us at CA&F and create a project about yourself!

One More Rockstar and a New Site

Hello! I was hoping I would have the time to make another Rockstar for Club Anya and Friend's Rockin Rebel 2 contest before it was over and I finally had a few moments to play (boy, all of the end of the school year stuff barely leaves a person time to think!) I thought the Flirty Edward from the new Roll Call set would make a good Jim Morrison, so that is what I attempted! I used the title of my favorite Door's song for the front - I am thinking of having the inside say " and you are too" or "You're even stranger"...Anyone have any better ideas they'd like to give me?!

    The Details:
Stamp: Flirty Edward from Roll Call - The Greeting Farm
Paper: My Mind's Eye, Basic Black (SU), White (Paper Trey Ink)
    Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
    Copics:
    Skin: R00,E00,E11,R20
    Hair:E21,E25,E27,E29
    Clothes: C5,C7,C9,E43,E44,E47,E49
    Misc: Brads (Bazzil)

Now, I also have some FUN news:

A few of us fellow Copic lovers have put together a little informational blog called “Color Me Copic” and it’s launching on May 28th! This isn’t a challenge site and we aren’t selling anything, we’re just Copic lovers like you who wanted to put some information out there because we get asked a lot of questions and want to help you out. There will be photo tutorials, video tutorials and you are free to ask questions, we are here for you!

    Stay tuned for more info!

    Happy Mother's Day!

Hello! Happy Mother's Day to those who are! Today I bring you a fun contest (thought of by me! WooHoo, because I never think of contest ideas!!) from Club Anya! In honor of Mother's Day, we are having a contest where your little one gets to be the boss! Here are the rules:

1.) Your child and/or children pick ALL the supplies for you to create a card...because they said so! Yes, we mean ALL other than adhesive, trimmers etc.

These supplies chosen by your kiddos MUST include:
    CA&F qualifying stamp
Cardstock and Designer paper (and they can pick from ALL your piles of it! :D)
ANY and ALL embellishments (and you can't add anything extra, either :D)
ANY and ALL punches/tools not absolutely necessary for cardmaking (i.e. border punches, shapes, piercers, etc.)

Here is my card with all of the supplies picked out by my 10 year old, Ronnie:

She is obviously way more adventurous than me - I almost always use DP from the same company and usually from the same line so that it all coordinates. She just grabbed papers in blues and greens that she liked. (She just read that and thought I was insulting her - I was meaning I am very impressed with her using her own eye to put things together like she did!) Some of the pieces were small scraps and I worked with the scraps rather than getting a bigger piece out. She handed me two packets of jewels and I pulled the colors I wanted out of them - I assumed the rules would not mean that I had to use all of the jewels in the package!

    The Details:

    Firefly Fairy

Hello! So earlier today I was visiting a bunch of blogs, and I happened across Alex's and Randi's blogs and I saw the cutest little fairies! They were by MelJen's Designs, who was sponsoring the Flutter By Wednesday challenge this week, so I had to go take a look.....I ended up with the Pixie Dust Fairy and the Firefly Fairy in my cart! They were digi images so I got to play right away, and I made this card, which will be my first Flutter By Wednesday challenge card! I just LOVED trying to catch fireflies when I was little. I don't think we have them where I live now....I've certainly never seen one here.

    The Details:
Stamp: Firefly Fairy - MelJen's Designs
Paper: DCWV, Prism Cardstock, White for image (Paper Trey Ink)
    Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
    Copics:
    Skin: R00,E00,E11,R20
    Hair: E02,E08,E09,E18, B91,B95
    Clothes: R02,R05,B91,Y000,Y04,Y08
    Background: Y000,Y04,Y08, B91,B93,B95,B97,B99
Misc: Stardust Stickles, Ribbon (SU - it was white and I used my Copic B99 to make it blue), Taylors Tiny Twinkles

I hope your day is magical!

    New Sweet November Stamps!

I have two posts today - if you have time, please scroll down for my Wild Card Wednesday post!

WooHoo! It is new release time at Sweet November stamps (well, actually I am doing a sneak peek today and they will be released at All That Scraps on the 10th!) Amy only has one stamp being released this month, but is a CUTIE (or should I say 2 cuties!?) I am pround to introduce Darby and her good friend Penelope!

This card is pretty much embellishment free (totally embellishment free if you don't count using an edge and corner punch as embellishment.) I don't use a lot of embellishments to begin with and once I used the word DP and the DP with the flying dandelion fluff I just could not "see" anything else on the card! I set it aside and waited about 2 days to see if something would come to me, and finally decided this was how it wanted to be!

    The Details:
Stamp: Darby and Penelope (Sweet November Stamps through All That Scraps)
Paper: We R Memory Keepers, Papaya Puree Dk, Sugar Cream (Prism), White for image (Paper Trey Ink)
    Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
    Copics:
    Darby:
    Skin:R00,E00,E11,R20
    Hair:E11,E13,E15,E17,YR00,YR15
    Clothes: RV32,RV34,V01,V04
    Penelope:
    Skin: E00,E11,E13,RV32,R20
    Hair: E44,E47,E49,100
    Clothes: Y17,YR15,YR16,YR18
Misc: Fiskars Border and Corner Punch

Once again, Darby and Penelope will be available on the 10th at All That Scraps!

    WCW - Flowers!

Hello! Our Wild Card Wednesday challenge this week over at Club Anya and Friends has a "May Flowers" theme! We are to use at least one flower on our cards and some flower DP! I got 3 sheets of cute floral DP by Rhonna Farrer for Autumn Leaves for free in my last DP order, so I decided to use that. I paper pieced her dress and the flowers in her hair with it, too!

    The Details:
Stamp: Fleur Anya (The Greeting Farm), Sentiment from Verve
Paper: Rhonna Farrer for Autumn Leaves, Basic Black (SU), White (Paper Trey Ink)

    Can't Decide? Go for Neapolitan!

Hello! I hope you had a great weekend! Are you all as excited as I am about the new releases at The Greeting Farm and the Rockin Rebel contest? I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!! We also have another challenge for Monday Mania at Club Anya and Friends! Today's challenge comes from Claireabelle and is to be Neapolitan - in other words, use strawberry, chocolate and vanilla colors on your card! I twisted it just a bit with my card and used actual strawberries instead of the "pink" that is associated with the ice cream for my inspiration.

I used the head form the new Cuddle Anya (with her hat slightly altered to be a strawberry) and the body of the Anya in the Spotlight set. I stamped her twice, cutting out the arms from the second one. I drew a little basket to put some "strawberries" in and layered it under the second set of arms.

    The Details:
Stamps: Cuddle Anya, Spotlight - both from The Greeting Farm, Sentiment from Hero Arts
Paper: K&Co, Dark Chocolate, Vintage Cream White (Paper Trey Ink)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Walnut Stain Distress Ink, Antique Linen Distress Ink
    Copics:
    Skin: E000,E00,E11,R20
    Hair and Skirt: E21,E25,E27,E29
    Shirt:E50,E53,E55
Misc: Corner Rounder (SU), Ribbon (Offray)

    Thanks for stopping by today!

For my Rockin' Rebel card I decided to turn the new Thursday Creeper into early 80's era Madonna. So I decided to just play and I thought Madonna would be fun!) I wiped away the ink from her kitty hat and her lower body before I stamped her and drew in new hair and a skirt and leggings. I left the cute tennis shoes. I made some fishnet lines on the outer shirt layer, added a crucifix, a mole and some jelly bracelets and voila!
