Monday Mania - This Is Me

Hello! I hope your weekend was great! This is the last week of school here before Summer vacation, so I know it's going to be a crazy week with lots of end of the year activities.....Today's Monday Mania challenge at Club Anya comes from Shaela and is a "This is Me" challenge. Here is Shaela's description,"Create a project that portrays who you are. You can make a scrapbook layout, card, altered item, gift set... any kind of paper project. It can be done in your favorite colors, using your favorite CA&F image, a project that displays a cherished past-time... whatever describes you!! Please include a brief explanation in your details when you upload it to the gallery."


First I made Rockstar Anya (my favorite Anya) into a self portrait of me by giving her a rounder body and glasses and dressing her like me. Then I used my favorite colors – dark red, orange and brown. There is sewing because that is another hobby that I spend a lot of time doing. And finally, the skulls and “Keep Rockin’” are because in my head I am still 17!!

Miss Anya Rocks!

Hiya! First, I have to apologize to any Green Bay Packers fans out there - I am responsible for the Cardinals win yesterday (hee hee)! You see, I discovered that when their games are aired in my area and I color with my Copics while watching the game I bring them luck and they play well! So, YAY for their win yesterday! This is the card I was working on for the first half of the game:

I used the sketch from Club Anya's Sketchy Saturday to make Miss Anya a Rocker! She has the body of the Miss Anya Love with the nifty boots (and I made them red patent leather with some Chrystal Effects), the face and right arm of the seated Miss Anya Love (I erased the outside edges of her hair and her ponytail using baby wipes and then redrew in her razor cut shag!) and the guitar and left hand of Rockstar Anya. When I do this much altering I usually stamp all of the images, color them, then cut them apart and layer them the way I want them.

Club Anya Card Carrying VIP Member Swap

Hi everyone! How was your weekend? Mine was very busy and I got way too little sleep! Because of that I am going to make this very quick and then I am off to bed!


Over at Paper Craft Planet in the Club Anya group Cassie started a Club Anya Card Carrying VIP Member Swap. Everyone who signs up makes a 3 1/2 by 4 1/2 "Club Anya Membership Card" to swap. Right now I think we are still 4 people short of my group being full. Anyway, this is my card for the swap. I don't think I recall reading that they were supposed to be kept secret. This was all I had a chance to work on this weekend, so it was the only thing I had to show you today! I used Rockstar Anya from The Greeting Farm because she is still my favorite (so far - wait until you see the new releases for the 15th! I am such a tease, I know!) The DP is Creative Imaginations and DCWV and the ribbon is Creative Imaginations. She is colored with Copics:

A Couple of Sketch Challenges

Hi Everyone! I am getting such a late start today! Since it's the start of Spring Break I let my daughter have a sleep-over and we have all just been lazing around all morning!

My first card is for the sketch challenge over at Club Anya. If you love these stamps like I do you should head over and take a look because you can win one of the new stamps sets just by participating in the sketch challenge! So, for my card I used the new set Forest Friends - so adorable! I colored the deer with my Prismacolor markers. The DP is from Imaginisce and the card stock is Stampin Up. The brads are some I've had sitting around forever from Queen & Co.



My second card is for the Sketch challenge this week over at Splitcoast. I used Rockstar Anya - I think she's my favorite Greeting Farm stamp although it's so hard to choose. Ask me when I'm in a different mood and I'll probably pick another one! The DP and card stock is Stampin Up.
