The Stockings Were Hung By The Chimney With Care....

Hello! Day 3 of our Sweet November Sneak Peeks brings us this adorable Baby Girl with Stocking. It sure looks like she has been a good girl this year - that stocking is overflowing with goodies!! She will be available on Monday, October 4th at All That Scraps!


I decided I wanted to give her a little fireplace to be pulling her stocking down from so I ran a rectangle of red card stock through my Sizzix with one of the Tim Holtz embossing folders (I don't know what it is called but it looks like bricks). I cut a little black rectangle and rounded the corners to be the opening where the fire goes and used my Fiskars border punch on a white piece of card stock for the mantle. The extra stocking is a Crate Paper chipboard stocking.

It's Clearly Time for Another Sweet November Sneak - and a Challenge!

Hello! Day 2 of the new Sweet November Sneak Peeks falls on All That Scraps Challenge Day so I have combined two in one today! This is Sweet November's Baby Boy With Present, and he will be available on October 4th at All That Scraps! The challenge at the ATS Challenge Blog this week is to make a clear card.



This is my first ever clear card (in fact it was finished up very last minute this afternoon because I had no clear card stock and I was waiting for my order to arrive!!) It was SO much fun to make (if difficult to get a good picture of!) I am excited about making some more!! The blue paper and the sentiment are on the inside of the card and Baby Boy and the two strips of DP are on the outside. I also used stickles and made circles and dots on the front of the card. Next time I think I will stamp on it! I wonder if heat embossing will melt the clear card stock?

Monster Love

I cannot believe this is my final post as a Club Anya and Friends DT member......I have been so blessed to get two turns on the Club Anya team (Team #1 and Team #3) I can't even put into words how grateful I am! The Greeting Farm stamps were the first "online" stamps that I fell in love with and I still love them just as much today! And the people that I have met through being a part of this Design Team (both the other members and fellow TGF fans) are so wonderful!

The Dragonfly

Hi! I have made a card today using another gorgeous ching-chou kuik image called The Dragonfly. I used my Copics to color the image but I left the background white and then painted it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam in Chandelier. It is hard to see in the photo, but in real life it has a beautiful sparkle that is subtler than my usual Stardust Stickles. To complete the card I "framed" the image with a Spellbinders die cut and added some gems around the scalloped circle.

ATS Color Challenge!

Hello! It is Wednesday and that means another challenge from the All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge blog! This week it is a color challenge - Pumpkin, Burgundy and Artichoke! I love these colors! They remind me of my favorite time of year - Fall (even though I didn't make a particularly Fall themed card!)


I decided to make a birthday card using the sweet party girl Azalea! You can never have enough birthday cards, right?! I paper pieced her dress and colored the rest of her with Copics. I gave the artichoke panel some texture with a Sizzix embossing folder and added some faux stitching with a Sakura Glaze pen in green.

Twilight Halloween

Hello! Happy Friday!! Are you all looking forward to the weekend as much as I am? I don't have any plans or anything......Just lazy days (hopefully!) sleeping in and making cards. Maybe a little housecleaning (ugh!)


Today I have made a card with one of the new Elaine Cox images called Twilight Halloween! This one, and her other new image called Starry Halloween are so beautiful to me! I could not wait until they arrived in my mail box! Just so you know, they are a little bigger than most of the Sweet Pea images. For reference, my card is 6.25 x 4.5 inches. I have colored it in black and white and then added some sparkle with a Clear Stardust Sakura gel pen.

The Seahorse

Hi! I have made a card today using a gorgeous new image from Sweet Pea Stamps by ching-chou kuik, called The Seahorse! I also used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch #90. When I saw her sketch this week I knew it and this round image were a perfect match and I couldn't wait to put them together! I originally colored the background with my Copics, like the rest of the image, but then I went over it with Twinkling H2O watercolors. They are really becoming my go-to medium for the backgrounds of the Sweet Pea images!

A Spooky Bookmark

I have never made one of these before (don't be shocked!!) but it was really easy and a lot of fun! I used C.C. Designs Swiss Pixie Halloween Hansel and and the Swiss Pixie Halloween Scene, cut them out and layered them on my bookmark. The image is mostly colored with Copics, but I used Twinkling H2O's for the moon. The ribbon is regular ribbon that I pleated.

Monday Mania - CASEing Peggy!

Hiya! I don't know if you have heard or not, but Monday Mania at Club Anya has had a little make-over. We will now be picking one of your cards from The Greeting Farm Gallery to CASE each week and challenging all other TGF and Club Anya Fans to CASE it with us! I loved the way she used one sheet of DP but separated it with a cardstock mat, so I copied that in my card. I happened to have the DP I used on a full 12x12 sheet and on a mini 6x6 sheet so it was the same print only smaller. I used the larger on the outside and the smaller on the inner panel. I was also very inspired by her use of the beautiful flowers with the ribbon, so I made some paper roses and added them like a bouquet with my ribbon. Sweet Anya has been given center stage, but I used Amy's method of altering with a light box to giver her Odette's face (from the Roll Call set.)

Hi! I just wanted to make a quick post to show you a Sweet Pea card I made! This is ching-chou kuik's Kimono Butterfly Mermaid (sheet 19, Plate 54). I think she is so beautiful and she was so much fun to color! I again used my Twinkling H2O's for the background. I have gone from hating them and wishing I had not spent the money on hem to LOVING them! They make a super fun and easy background! For the "frame" around her, first I cut a 3.25 square using a Martha Stewart edge and matching corner punch. I turned it on it's edge like a diamond shape and put it behind her. That didn't seem like quite enough, so I punched 4 more corners and trimmed them off of the square and glued them on top of the image..

Sweet November Sneaks - Azalea

Hello! Today is the final day of sneak peeks for this release of Sweet November stamps, and today's lovely lady is named Azalea! I am still in a very Halloween mood, but I decided to go with pink, black and white! Who says those aren't Halloween colors!? Ha! Sweet November Sneaks - Larkspur

Hello! This is day 4 of the Sweet November Sneak Peeks and today I get to show you another gorgeous Twisted Sister - this time it is Larkspur's turn at center stage. These lovely ladies were not designed specifically for Halloween (as you can see in all of Amy's gorgeous non-Halloween themed cards with them) but the "bug" has bitten me and I can't get Halloween off of my brain! I am absolutely going to make some non Halloween cards with her later, but my first thought of Larkspur was that she looked like a regal witch contemplating her next potion, so I have surrounded her with DP that shows all kinds of yummy things to put in her brew! All of the Twisted Sisters will be available Monday the 6th at 10:30 EST at All That Scraps!

Sweet November Sneaks - Caladium

Hello! I am thrilled to get to introduce you to Caladium today! She is another wonderful member of the new Twisted Sisters line from Sweet November stamps (they will be available at All That Scraps on Monday the 6th at 10:30 EST)! There was something about Caladium that made me think old fashioned and vintage-y (maybe it was her amazing bustle dress!) so I decided to color her like she was an old time photo and pair her with papers that had an "old" feel to me.

ATS Challenge - Lace

Hi! It is Wednesday and that means another fun challenge from the All That Scraps Challenge blog. This week our challenge is to use lace! And I am thrilled to get to show you another of the new Sweet November Twisted Sisters - Jessamine! She, along with all of the other Twisted Sisters, will be available on Monday the 6th at All That Scraps!


I wanted the scalloped rectangle to be longer than it was so I just cut it out twice and layered them with one extra scallop exteding (making it have 5 scallops along the length instead of 4) and then just covered that part up with the strip of card stock and the lace!
