ATS Wednesday Challenge - Celebrate New Years!

Hello! Our challenge this week at the All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge Blog is to make something for New Years - You could do calendars, wine charms, New Year’s party decorations, or even a banner. I decided to make wine glass charms - I am thinking I could even hang them on the Christmas tree next year!




I used Sweet Novembers Twisted Sisters Azalea and Jassamine for my charms. I stamped them on Shrink plastic with Staz On ink and then colored the other side. Azalea was colored with Copics and Jassamine was colored with Sharpie markers - I think the Sharpies worked a LOT better on shrink plastic! I shrank Azalea first on a cookie sheet covered with tin foil and she ended up with a lot of wrinkles. For Jessamine I put a piece of cardboard over the cookie sheet and that was much better.

ATS Challenge - Lace

Hi! It is Wednesday and that means another fun challenge from the All That Scraps Challenge blog. This week our challenge is to use lace! And I am thrilled to get to show you another of the new Sweet November Twisted Sisters - Jessamine! She, along with all of the other Twisted Sisters, will be available on Monday the 6th at All That Scraps!


I wanted the scalloped rectangle to be longer than it was so I just cut it out twice and layered them with one extra scallop exteding (making it have 5 scallops along the length instead of 4) and then just covered that part up with the strip of card stock and the lace!
