Color Me Copic Challenge

Hello! Color Me Copic has a tutorial today on coloring the folds on clothes using Copics (by Elaine) and will be having a challenge to go along with it! It is being sponsored by Susana's Custom Art and Card Design and she sent along this lovely stamp for us to color.

I colored in the image at the beginning of the week (she was a dream to color!) but she is so far from my usual style that I really struggled with putting a card together around her (not her fault - she is absolutely darling!) I felt the need to be very girly with her, which I am not usually....I made the flowers using white printer paper and a Martha Stewart punch (I tried to use tissue wrapping paper at first because I really wanted them to be soft and delicate, but I couldn't get my punch to work right with it. Is it even possible? Does anyone know the secret to making that work?) I curled the edges of the flowers using the straight part of a straight pin then added pearls in the centers. A little bit of ink distressing and some ribbon, and Voila!

Color Me Copic is Here!

Hello! I don't have a new card to share today, I just wanted to let everyone know that the Color Me Copic blog has started up! Color Me Copic is a blog that several of us "non-professional" Copic lovers have started to share some of our tips and techniques, with a few tutorials thrown in! I am proud to be a part of this talented group of ladies that includes Amy (A Thousand Sheets of Paper), Elaine (Quixotic Cards), Kim (PaperBabe), and our Founder Rachel (The Paper Crafting Place)! I know I am going to learn so much!!

Also, be sure to visit Club Anya and Friends tomorrow for some special challenges, then join us for the release party at Paper Craft Planet at 7 PM Central!!

I'll see ya' there!
