WCW Donna's Color Challenge

Hello! You may have already seen that Club Anya is letting a different DT member host a color challenge each Wednesday this month for Wild Card Wednesdays...this week it is our fabulous Guest Designer Donna's turn and she chose Pumpkin, Daffodil and Kiwi! I just love these colors together! I took the opportunity to make a birthday card for my step dad by turning Oliver from a Traveler into a Fisherman. Now, I know we already have Ian as a Fisherman in the Rock the Farm set but I used that Ian on his birthday card last year! Plus, Oliver as a Fisherman looks more like my step dad!

WCW - Kim's Sketch!

Hello! If you visited Club Anya and Friends yesterday you already saw the Fantastic sketch challenge by Kim - doesn't her sketch look like a work of art all on it's own!?

I have been feeling in a little bit of a rut lately - it has been hard for me to shift gears from all of the sewing I was doing for the Renaissance festival back to stamping. But nothing is more fun that playing with new stuff, right? Luckily a package arrived from The Greeting Farm with some new Washi tape that I ordered, and I decided to try out some Glimmer Mist as well! I used an embossing folder for the yellow background panel and then spritzed it with Glimmer Mist. The flowers were colored with a Copic marker and then sprayed with Glimmer Mist, too, so it is very sparkly in real life.

Wicked Cool WCW

Hello! If you stopped by Club Anya yesterday you may have seen my card for yesterdays Wild Card Wednesday Challenge! This week's challenge is a fabulous sketch by Kelly!

I decided to finally use Jade from the Roll Call set. She is my favorite and I think I was saving her! The U R part of the sentiment is some old rub-on letters on a circle of purple card stock, then covered with a clear...pebble? I don't know what it is called, but it is Joann's brand. I combined the "wicked cool" sentiment from the "wicked" in the Roll Call set and the "cool" from Talk Loud.

WCW - Pink Chocolate Roses

Hiya! The Wild Card Wednesday challenge this week at Club Anya and Friends is a color challenge called "Pink Chocolate Roses". This is one of my favorite color combo's and one I haven't used in a while so I was happy to get to play! I used Maria from the new Roll Call set (I just can't stop! There are so many cute Sprouts in the set!!) and the clouds from the Fly Away set (oh, no! I just looked and don't see Fly Away there anymore!) The fence is a Martha Stewart punch.

WCW Summer Fun

Hiya! After today we only have one more school day, then it is summer vacation! Yeah! Speaking of Summer....today's Wild Card Wednesday challenge at Club Anya and Friends is all about sunshine and summertime! We are asking that you use a summer theme and at least one shade of yellow.


Last summer we got new next door neighbors. Their teenage son spent the summer shooting hoops in their driveway until after 10PM most nights (being Alaska, the sun doesn't set here until well after midnight mid summer!) So now, one of the things I think of when I think of summer is basketball! I used sweet little Dylan from the new Roll Call set and made a little mini scene with the sun behind him (I just remembered I meant to give him grass and I totally forgot!)

WCW Room Inspiration

Punk It Up

Today at Club Anya and Friends, our guest designer for the month of April (Caz) has a challenge for this week's Wild Card Wednesday - Punk It Up! I have made this card for my brother, who always request a stack of "U Suck" cards to be made for him each year. He gives them out to those he really cares about, and they seem to "get it" and appreciate the cards!


I altered the new Stamping Anya by wiping away the "stamps" on her shirt before stamping and drawing in the "U" and the "No" sign on the heart. I also gave her new hair by stamping her once, cutting her out, and tracing her head to draw her new hair which I placed on the original head like a wig.
