It's Yarr Birthday!

Hiya! IT is All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge time again and this week the challenge is "Cards for Guys". Hmmm, well I have to admit, I don't make a lot of those. I started flipping through my images (my stamps are stored in numbered CD cases but I keep a binder (or 2 or 3...) with the images stamped out and the number of the CD case that they are in so I can find them quickly once I decide what I want to use.) I finally decided on Kraftin Kimmies Cutthroat Lizzie. My DH didn't really think it looked like a guy card but I say "What guy doesn't like a buxom pirate wench?" Plus, look, no ribbon or flowers!!

Put On Your Sunglasses!

....this is a bright one! I just had to play with my new Cosmo Cricket papers for the All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge. This weeks challenge is a sketch challenge by Janneke.


I used Princess Petunia from Kraftin Kimmie stamps, but I drew an iris in her eye instead of the little dot that is there originally. I just wanted to be able to color her eyes!

ATS Wednesday Challenge - Easel Cards

Well, hello! Since it is Wednesday, there is a new challenge at the All That Scraps Challenge blog! This weeks challenge is to make an Easel card. Can you believe I have never made one!? And with This Tutorial at Splitcoaststampers it was really easy! I made one of the optional larger sizes listed towards the end of the tutorial. I also used my first Kraftin Kimmie stamp! I have been seeing some really great cards made with these little cuties, and I just had to play with some myself!
