Sneak Peak Day 2 - Oh, Baby!

Hi! So, do you have fun plans for the weekend? This is the last weekend of Re-Faire here, so I will be there all weekend!I may already be listening to Bawdy Pirate songs or watching Bad Shakespeare being performed at the "Tomato Show"! But I am also happy to show you a sneak peak of another new set from The GreetingFarm - Oh, Baby! This set is SO cute! I made my card with the little boy, but there is also an adorable little girl, a teddy bear, duckie, several other accessories and some cute sentiments! I love The Greeting Farm sets because they give you lots of options!

For my first card today I used DP from The Greeting Farm. Although it is not what you would traditionally think of as baby colors, I thought the sweet bunnies would be cute on a baby card! The layout is from a past Mojo Monday sketch challenge. The image is colored with Copics:

Skin: R00,E00,E11,R20
Clothes: BG11,BG72,BG75, Y23,Y26,Y28

My second card uses Baseball Ian, previously a Digi stamp only that will be available in rubber on the 15th! Last week, Marie at The Greeting Farm had a black, white and gray color challenge. I had so much fun doing the challenge that I wanted to play with those colors again! The baseball is from the set Pupstar and I cut the word Dad out with my Cricut!

Now be sure to go see the other DT members who always have something amazing to show!

But I am THRILLED to show you a sneak peak of a new Anya and Ian set from The Greeting Farm. This one is called Wardrobe 2, and just like it sounds, it is new clothes and accessories for the Dress Me Anya and Ian set! In addition to the cute summery clothes, this set has sunglasses, some cute bags, and an ice cream cone! What fun!

For my card I used DP from DCWV and I put stickles all over their sno-cones! I colored them with Copics, like always!

A Black and White Challenge at the Farm!

Hello! I feel like I've been gone for ages! I had a great time at Encampment! Our girls got to learn about dog mushing from a teenage Junior Iditarod runner and pet her dogs, made jelly and fried bread, learn about the constellations in a really cool way and use a robotic arm, and try their hand at baton twirling and cheer leading! Speaking of the cheerleading, my daughter is not a girly girl and was not happy that they had BOTH baton twirling and cheerleading on their event schedule. The cheerleading was last and due to several days lack of sleep, and her unhappiness, she was complaining heavily on the way to cheerleading. I had to explain to her several times that the other girls were excited about the cheerleading and she should give it her best and then she would never have to do it again. Well, like I said, she's no girly girl, but she does like to be loud and she is a ham! (One of the big reasons for the girls' lack of sleep was Ronnie felt she had a "captive audience" in the tent at night so she had to put on a show. She got sillier and sillier to keep everyone laughing!) At the cheer leading event, she got to be loud and get on stage to show off the routine she learned, and now she is begging me to sign her up for Cheerleading!

Did you know that The Greeting Farm is having a sketch/color challenge? You can see all of the details HERE. Because of my crazy week I am just now getting mine done, but you do still have until tonight to enter! The color combo is obviously Black/White/Gray. It was a blast to color that way! I did struggle a lot more with the paper selection, though! I used the adorable Skater Ian, words from the Wardrobe #1 set, and the skull and crossbones from Matey. The ribbon is some older ribbon I had from Creative Imaginations and the large skull and crossbones is a Martha Stewart punch. I used a little black diamonds stickles on the star on his shirt and everything is colored with Copics:

C0,C1,C3,C5,C7,C9,110

Thanks and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Shine on the Boardwalk

Hi! I just have a very quick post today to show another very quick card! I liked the scene that these papers created so much and I really couldn't think of anything else to add that wouldn't cover up part of that.

My card today uses Shine from The Greeting Farm's Rain, Snow, Shine set. The DP is DCWV. And that's pretty much it! She is colored with Copics:

Skin: R00,E00,E11,E13,R20
Clothes:YG95,YG97,E25,E27,E29
Hair: E02,E08,E19,E18

Thanks so much for looking!

Sparkly Surfer Ian

Hi! This is one of the other cards I made while I was playing yesterday! Does anyone remember the movie Xanadu? That's what this paper reminds me of. It has to have been at least 25 years since I have seen that movie and if I watched it now it would probably be awful, but I loved it as a "Tween"!

The paper is from DCWV. Because it was so sparkly and light in the background I tried to pretend like the sun was behind Ian (from THe Greeting Farm) and was just catching the back of his head and the tips of his hair. I'm sure if that was really where the sun was, it wouldn't catch the front of his hair the way I colored it, but I like it anyway! The background paper had done most of the "work" for me , so all I did was color Ian with Copics and layer him on it (I did cut a darker strip from a different section of the paper so it would maybe look like a separate "wave" that he was riding). I also just used a piece that was left over to decorate the inside of the card.

Skin:R00,E11,E13,R20,R22
Hair:E40,E43,E47
Clothes:E43,E47,E49,R85,R89
Board:E40,E43,YR04,YR07,YR09

Have a sparkly, wonderful day!

A Fairy Sparkly Card

Hi Everyone! So, I finally couldn't take it anymore and I had to stamp today! I made a few cards so I can auto post while I am camping! I have to say, it was SO much fun to be playing with ink and glitter and coloring again!

I used Tinkerbella from Stamping Bella for the card I am going to show you today. The DP is from We Are Memory Keepers. I used LOTS of stickles (in real life it is easier to read the sentiment through all of that sparkle!) The image is colored with Copics:

Skin: E00,E11,R20
Clothes, Wings & Wand: RV13,RV14,RV17,YR04,YR07,YR09,Y02
Shadows: C0,C1,C3

Thanks for stoppiong by to see me!

A Couple of Knights

Hi Everyone! Sorry I have not been around much lately! Besides getting ready for Faire, my daughter has Girl Scout Encampment coming up this weekend (the troop leader and I will be camping out for 3 nights with our troop and hundreds of other Girl Scouts and their troop leaders!) and I am preparing for that as well! I am so NOT an outdoor girl!

So, just a quick post today. I mostly made these cards a week ago but I didn't feel they were finished so I set them aside. I never could come up with what was missing so I am calling them finished now!

The image is a Sugar Nellie (Luca & Nellie). The DP is GCD Studios. They are colored with Copics:

Skin: R00,E00,E11
Armor: C1,C3,C5
Shield: C7,C9,110 Green:G17,G19,G29 Red: R27,R29,R39
Shading:C0,C1,C3

Have a wonderful day!
