Good Morning (or afternoon or evening if that's when you are visiting!) Today is my last official post as a Club Anya DT member....(tear)...I have loved being a part of the CA DT. Don't worry, though, you will still see lots of Anya and Ian here! My card today uses 80's Anya. I am such a child of the 80's and I still have such a fondness for all things 80's (though I did let go of the shoulder pads and big hot-rolled hair a LOOOng time ago!!) But my DVD collection still has a shelf with The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Some Kind of Wonderful, The Sure Thing and Duran Duran's video collection!!
I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch for the layout.
And the inside (if anyone has any tips about photographing the inside of cards I'd love to hear them. Right now I am having to take the picture upside down (the card, not me!) so the card will stay open.)
The Details:
Stamp: 80's Anya, Sentiment from Showtime - The Greeting Farm
Paper: old My Minds Eye from my stash!, Basic Black, Whisper White, PTI White
Copics;
Skin: R00,E00,E11,R20
Hair:E21,E25,E27,E29
Clothes: Y000,Y02,Y06,G00,BG32,BG34

Ian as Dracula
I love altering Anya's and Ian's. I don't really know why - I certainly don't find anything lacking in them as they are, they are my favorite stamps. I think there is just something about them that sparks my imagination. So, now I have decided to turn Ian into Count Dracula (or at least a Victorian era Vampire)!
I started by using the sketch for Farm Fresh Fridays at The Greeting Farm. The two red panels were made by inking up one side of my Cuttlebug folder with black ink and running a piece of Bravo Burgundy CS through, then I cleaned it off and inked up the other side and ran another piece of Bravo Burgundy through. I then used a Real Red Craft pad on the raised edges to brighten it up some. I gave Ian a few hair extensions and some fangs, traced his body and re-drew his outfit. His hat is from the Showtime set (I keep giving that hat to other stamps! It's a great hat!)
Other Details:
Stamps: My Guy and Showtime - The Greeting Farm
Paper: Making Memories (black), Basic Black, Bravo Burgundy, Real Red - SU, PTI White
Copics:
Skin: R00,E00,E11,R20
Hair:E21,E25,E27,E29
Clothes:C3,C5,C7,C9,R43,R46,R59,R89

A Cute Troop Bridging Ceremony
Hi! I am so late today!! I actually had this card ready last night and went to have it auto post but when I was looking at the photo I had taken of the card I realized a few pieces of the tape backing for the pop up dots had stuck to my card with static cling and I didn't notice it when I took the picture! (Whew! That was a looong sentence!) Anyway, I had no light to take the picture by at that time of the night so I had to re-take it this morning.
My daughter's brownie troop had their Bridging Ceremony this past weekend so I thought I would make a card that showed my daughter being a Brownie and then being a Junior Girl Scout (yep, she has those pink streaks in her hair! I was shocked when my DH said "yes" when she asked for them!) I am going to let her send this to her PaPa along with some pictures from the ceremony. I have not had a chance to get the inverted scallop circles from Nestabilies (they are on my HUGE wishlist!) but I got this great idea from Sandra at Paper Funtastics to use my scallop scissors upside down for the same effect!
Other Details:
Stamps: Cute Troop - The Greeting Farm
Paper: K& Co, So Saffron, Taken With Teal - SU, PTI White
Copics:
Skin: R00, E00,E11,R20
Hair:E40,E43,E44,E47, RV14,RV17,RV19
Uniforms: E25,E27,E29,G14,G17,G29,Y21,GG49
Misc: Large Eyelets - SU, Satin Ribbon from Wal-Mart
Thank you for stopping by! I hope your week is wonderful!

Mojo Pumpkins!
Hi ! I am running very late posting today! Sorry....I made this card for the MojoMonday Week 105 sketch. I have to say, Julee creates the most gorgeous sketches! I mean, the sketches themselves look like gorgeous cards!!
I am still in a Halloween mood, so I took the pumpkin trio from the Verve set Tall Oaks and drew jack-o-lantern faces on them. The paper is from My Minds Eye and the ribbon is some satin ribbon I found at Wal-Mart.
Thank You for visiting today! I hope you have a great weekend (and I hope I get to stamp lots this weekend - I haven't gotten to do much the past couple of days!)

There's Something "Familiar" About This Witch!
Hi! How are you today?I had a weird-weather-at-work day yesterday. I watch the kids at recess at my daughter's school, so I am outside for 2 hours a day (yes, even in the winter, in Alaska!) Yesterday, in that 2 hour time frame we had a light, very cold drizzle that turned into freezing rain and hail. After hurrying to get the kids inside, everything stopped and the sun came out. So we were back outside for the next recess, only to have it all start over again 30 minutes later!!
On to my card! I loved turning one of the Dressy Miss Anya'a into a witch a while back, so I decided to do it again and give her a Familiar this time! This is also for the color challenge over at SCS - Crushed Black Razzelberries (I love how that sounds!) and I used Mercy's Sketch #40. I masked the flower in her hair so it wouldn't stamp and drew her witches hat separately, cut it out and glued it on. I also drew her little broom, cut it out and glued it behind her back.
The Details:
Stamps: Miss Anya Dressy, Ginger Bell (cat) - The Greeting Farm, Sentiment - Taylored Expressions
Paper: Crushed Curry, Rich Razzelberry, Basic Black, Whisper White, PTI White
Copics:
Skin:R00,E00,E11,R20
Hair:V01+R43,V04+R46,V06+R59
Clothes:Y23,Y35,Y26,C0,C1,C3,C5,C7,C9
Cat:C3,C5,C7,C9,R20,R22
Misc: Cuttlebug Embossing folders, EK Success Bat Punch, Black Stickles
This card is for week 4 of the Viva la Verve challenges at SCS. This week's has a sketch and the added challenge of "black and white". I am not sure how much I love this - I may try it again if I have the time. My brain has a harder time thinking of cards without coloring, but I am trying to get better at it! The stamp is from Verve, the paper is K&Co, and I used a CB embossing folder for the black background piece.
I hope your Wednesday is wonderful!

Anya and Ian Together At Last!
Hello Everyone! Do many of you use digital papers or digital images? I know when I first heard of digital images I didn't think I'd like them, but when I actually played with some I decided it was nice to be able to change the size or reverse an image. I will admit that I sometimes forget about what I have because they are in the computer. I should probably print out an index to add to the 3 ring binders that have all of my rubber (and clear) images cataloged. But what I really meant to talk about was digital paper. I tried one digital paper months ago (I won't say where it was from!!) and when I printed it out it looked terrible so I decided it wasn't for me. But this weekend I decided to (finally) redecorate my blog and I bought a kit from Sweet Shoppe Designs. I thought I would try out some paper again, too, as it is pretty inexpensive. That is the orange paper on my card today. This could be sooo bad for me!! I love printed paper and buying it digitally is so easy (and it printed out very nicely!)

Hello Monday!
Sorry I've been kind of quiet for the past few days. I didn't get much stamping done this weekend, or even get on the computer to upload the final 3 cards I did for the Verve new release Party/Challenges to my blog. I did finish all 5 by the Friday deadline, though - Woo Hoo! So it's a few days late, but here they are!
The first one was for the challenge to use Sparkle! I made the sparkly blue paper by covering a piece of Bashful Blue with Versamark ink and then embossing it with Iridescent Ice Embossing powder. The stamp is from Verve's Ornamental Christmas set.
This one was for the challenge to use Distressing! Again, I used the Ornamental Christmas stamp set and some yummy Cosmo Cricket paper that I have had for awhile.
And this last one was for a color challenge - Pumpkin Pie, Mellow Moss, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla. I used the Verve stamp Whimsy Tree for the main image and did a little watercoloring with re-inkers. The sentiment from Heartfelt Phrases and the background leaf is from Forever in Our Hearts (all Verve).
Thanks for stopping by!

I'm Gettin' My Verve On!!
Hi! I think I said a couple of days ago that my goal was to do all of the September Viva la Verve challenges? Well, I didn't realize that there were a whole set (5 to be exact) of Verve Release Challenges! I only found out yesterday but I am going to try to finish all 5 by the deadline (Friday!) I think if this was something I HAD to do I'd probably be grumbling about the short amount of time, but because I am challenging myself to it, I am having SO much fun!!
The first challenge I am doing is a sketch challenge by Julee herself. I decided to make mine a Christmas (or at least winter themed) card. The DP is from Fancy Pants Designs. The light pink panel (embossed with a cuttlebug folder) is the back side of the green snowflake paper. The sentiment (and the snowflakes stamped lightly behind it) is from the set Snowflake Splendor from Verve. The snowflake is made form a Spellbinders die. The 3 pieces were white to begin with and I sponged on Rich Razzelberry ink, covered the whole thing with Versamark ink and then embossed with Iridescent Ice.
The second card is for a color challenge by Charmaine - Rich Razzelberry, Old Olive, Dusty Durango and Taken With Teal. I used one of the background stamps in Bountiful Backgrounds with 3 of the colors of ink, then stamped the bird from Anniversary Birds over it. I then stamped the birds once more in each of the ink colors (RR, OO, and DD) and cut out the wings. I layered the wings over a different body color, cut the body out and layered it over the bird stamped once more in black (boy, I think I am making this sound really confusing, when it's not!!) I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder on the white background. The sentiment is from the set Heartfelt Phrases.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope your day is wonderful!!

A Couple of Viva la Verve Challenges
I have been trying to participate in more challenges lately and it is my goal to do each of the Viva la Verve challenges over at Splitcoast. I really like the Verve stamps and they really challenge me because there is little to no coloring. The two projects I am showing you today are for the VLV September Week 2 (make a Scrapling or smaller than usual card or project) and Week 3 (which has a sketch, and the added challenge of make it for a girl friend.)
For the Week 2 Challenge I made a bookmark for my good friend Stacy who was the first person to tell me about Twilight. The background is stamped with Verve's bountiful backgrounds, once in red and then offset and stamped again in black. I got the idea for doing this from the Fabulous Betty Wright (thank you so much for all of your amazing inspiration!). She makes the most gorgeous cards and sometimes stamps ALL of her background paper! And I have to thank Sandra at Paper Funtastics for the idea I used on the ribbon treatment. It looked so amazing on her card HERE that I had to try it. Mine didn't show up in the photo very well (the camera didn't love the black on black velvet!) but it is so cool on her card! The sentiment is from Fictionally Inspired by Artful Inkables.
For the Week 3 challenge I used the Verve set Beautiful You, which has just the best quotes and sentiments! I cut the sentiment out with my circle Nesties then sponged Certainly Celery on while the Nestie was still there as a mask. The paper is from a DCWV stack and the butterflies, flowers and leaves are all Martha Stewart punches. The leaves and the butterflies also have lots of stickles!
Thank you so much for visiting today!

A few Altered Sprouts!
Hi Everyone! Did you see the announcement last week on The Greeting Farm blog about the new Create Your Own Sprout contest? Now, you would think this would be right up my alley as I am always altering Anya's and Ian's but since the announcement I have drawn a total blank!! I would sit with my little traced Sprout just staring at the paper! Well, yesterday, I finally got a couple of things to make their way out of my brain! I am not sure that I will enter these (I think we are limited to 3 entries). I think my Rocker Girl "Liv" (short for Olivia, but she prefers Liv!) may be a little too surly and Marie made a limited edition Elf Anya last year (that was right before I discovered TGF so I missed out on her and I have always wanted her, so that's why I made an elf!!) so I may not enter my Elf "Meri"either! Hopefully some other things come to me!! BTW, if you haven't seen the Sprout creations on Amy's blog you are missing out!

It's Time for Somoa Anya and Ian Sneak Peeks!
I'm sorry - I couldn't resist that title with this adorable new stamp set from The Greeting Farm called Cute Troop! I was giddy when I opened my (final) (sniff, sniff) DT package and saw this super cute Scout set! I almost colored Anya as a Brownie (and yes, there is an Ian Scout in the set, too!) but my daughter is bridging to Girl Scout this year, so I thought I would make this card for our Fantastic Troop Leader! These cuties are going to be available on the 15th!
The Details:
Stamp: Cute Troop - The Greeting Farm
Paper: K&Co Girl Scout pad, Old Olive, Garden Green, PTI White
Copics:

Hair: E21,E25,E27,E29,E79

Happy Anniversary to My In-Laws!
Today is my Father and Mother-in-Law's Anniversary! I feel awful that I don't know exactly how many years they have been married (it's somewhere between 58-60) but my DH doesn't know either and he's their son (obviously!!) I also feel pretty bad that this card is only going in the mail today, so it will be late. I had intended to use this really cute set by Verve called Anniversary Birds, and I ordered it a couple of weeks ago, but it didn't get here in time (not Verve's fault - they mailed it right away. Then I watched the tracking info from the Post Office quit moving!!) So, I had to go with an older set from Cloud 9 Design for the sentiment. (I did get my Verve order late in the afternoon today, but I'd already finished the card!) I also used the sketch from Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge # 38.
The Details:
Stamps: Simple Thoughts :Love - Cloud 9 Design, Bountiful Backgrounds - Verve
Paper: Very Vanilla, Night of Navy, Choc Chip, Mellow Moss
Ink: Mellow Moss, Distress Ink - Tea Dye and Vintage Photo
Misc: CB Embossing Folder, Nestabilities, Craft Ribbon, Bazill Paper flower, Martha Stewart Gem
Thanks for visiting!

One Last Circus Card...
...for now, anyway! I don't have any more made right now or anything, but the way that challenge had my brain spinning, I can't swear I won't be making another one!! This one uses Anya and Ian from the Dress Me set. I drew clown make-up on them and drew their fancy clown outfits. If you have an interest in altering, or just drawing your own clothes, this is how I do it: I stamp Anya or Ian and cut them out (I use Dress Me Anya and Ian so much I have just kept one of each cut out of cardstock for this.) I trace the body (and the head if I am making a hat or changing the hair) onto my preferred Copic coloring Cardstock (usually PTI) then start drawing in pencil over my traced body. There's no reason to be nervous because it is just pencil and can be erased! Once I am happy with the pencil lines I go over them with my Copic multi-liner, color, and then cut out and layer over my original stamped image.
The Details:
Stamps: Dress Me - The Greeting Farm
Paper: GCD Studios, Basic Black, Whisper White - SU, PTI White
Copics:
Skin: R00,E00,E11,R20
Hair: E21,E25,E27,E29
Clothes, Make-Up: C0,C1,C3,C5,C7.C9,R35,R37,R39,R89
Misc: SU Photo Corner Punch, Brads, White Signo Pen
I hope your day is Fabulous!

Another Circus Card!
Good Morning! I hope a lot of you are getting to enjoy some time off because of the Holiday....I want to say a big Thank You for all of the well wishes I had last week over my hot water heater problems! They were fairly easily (and not too expensively!) fixed, once we were able top get a plumber to the house.
My card today is another Circus card! When Marie and Jess gave that challenge out (for those trying for the Greeting Farm DT 2 weeks ago) my mind just kept coming up with scenes! So here is another one!
The Details:

It's an Underwater Circus!
Uugh, Water...I don't really even want to think about water right now! I just discovered that the pilot light for my water heater went out sometime earlier today and now when we light it, it won't stay lit. So, we have called a plumber (the one recommended to us!) and they have yet to return our call! (I am setting this to auto post so this is all going on Thursday night!) Well, at least this little Mermaid Sweety is enjoying her water adventures!
The Details:
Stamps: Mermaid Anya, Fish from Down by the Pond, Hat from Showtime - all The Greeting Farm
Paper: My Minds Eye, Taken With Teal, Old Olive, PTI White
Copics:
Skin: R00,E00,E11,R20
Hair:BG11,BG32,BG34,BG72,BG75,BG78
Tail and hat: YG95,YG97,YG99
Fish:Y17,YR15,YR16,YR18
Misc: Liquid Pearls, Clear Dew Drops, Clear Microbeads on the tail, the seaweed is a Martha Stewart leaf punch.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

A MojoMonday Cup of Flowers
Hi! How are you today? Thursdays are my favorite days right now because Project Runway is back on! Yeah! I wonder who will be "aufed" tonight?
I used the sketch from this weeks MojoMonday challenge to make another card for my Father-in-law to give out. The yellow panel is embossed with a cuttlebug folder and then distressed with Creamy Caramel and Close to Cocoa ink. The image is colored with Copics and a few parts of the flowers are cut out and popped up. I kind of wish I'd done the sponging on the white panels differently. I am kind of sponge challenged!!
The Details:
Stamps: Cup of Stuff, Sentiment from Butterfly Wishes - The Greeting Farm
Paper: Barely Banana, Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, PTI white
Copics: Y11,Y15,Y17,Y38,YR18,Y26,BG11 with T0 over it, BG72, BG75,E44,E47,E49
Misc: Blue jewels from Martha Stewart, Cuttlebug embossing folders, Nesties, Craft Ribbon
Thank you so much for coming by today!
I hope your day is full of smiles!

Hi! I'm going to make this a really quick post and then it's off to bed for me! This is a birthday card for my Mother-in-Law, using the first September sketch challenge from Viva la Verve over at Splitcoast. The extra twist (cuz there's always a twist!) is to use "little round things" - you know, like brads, jewels, dots and so on!
The Details:

Paper: Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, Bravo Burgundy, Whisper White - SU, PTI White
Copics: R46,R59,R89, R35,R37,R39, R30,R32,R35, C0,C1,C3

Sugar Bowl 18 - More Halloween!
I am in such a Halloween mood! I know it's still 2 months away, but the leaves have started falling off of the trees here and it just makes me think of sweaters and apple cider and picking out a costume! My card today uses one of the images from the Sugar Nellie set Nellie and Luca Halloween. I bought this set early last Spring and this is the first time it is seeing ink. I think I just felt silly making Halloween cards in March! But on Monday the Sugar Bowl challenge blog had a really great sketch that I wanted to try and I thought,"Now is the time for Halloween stamps!!"
The Details:
Stamp: Nellie and Luca Halloween set
Paper: K&Co, Basic Black, Elegant Eggplant - SU, PTI White
Copics:
Skin:R00,E00,E11,R20
Hair:YG21,YG23,YG25,YG17
Clothes:BV02,BV04,BV08 with V012,V06,V09 over it, C0,C1,C3,C5,C7,C9
Thanks for stopping by!
