CAS(E) this Sketch #27

I am just loving playing in challenges lately!! Today I have made a card for the CAS(E) this Sketch #27 challenge.

I hope it is OK, but I turned the elements of the sketch on their side without turning the orientation of the card.

I used the Avery Elle stamp set Lots of Love for the big sentiment. The small "missing you" is from an old Stampin Up set called So Many Sayings, that I cut apart. The DP is My Minds Eye Collectible Unforgettable and the wood typewriter is from Studio Calico. This, like most of the cards I have made lately, is going to Operation Write Home.

Thanks for visiting me today!

A Couple More Tissue Box Covers

Hiya! I thought I would make a quick post to show you a couple more tissue box covers that I made - the blue one was for my daughter's teacher and the red and green one is for my Step Mother. I am typing this up on Sunday night - Monday is my daughter's 11th birthday and Tuesday is my Husbnad's birthday, so please forgive me for not leaving a lot of details this time!!

Made with Darby and Pudge (no Pudge in the project!) from Sweet November, and Bo Bunny Papers!

And this one uses Sweet Novembers Penelope and Juniper, and paper from The Girls Paperie (Tinsel and Twigs).

Have a wonderful day!

All That Scraps Gift Card Challenge

Hello! We have a fun challenge this week at the All That Scraps challenge blog - gift card holders! I decided to try to make my gift card holder in the shape of a present that you could lift the lid off of, but I still wanted it to fit in an envelope like a card.

My finished holder measures 6.25 x 4.5, which is the standard size of card that I make. The base (the Vanilla piece you can see in the second picture) measures 6.25 x 4.5. The "box" of the present is 6.25 x 3.4 and the lid is 6.25 x 1.5. The lid is attached to a piece of cardstock so it is a little sturdier and it is held on to the "box" with a brad in the corner so it can swivel to lift off. Before I attached the "box" to the base piece I set the giftcard where I wanted it to be, and then put glue around it so that once the "box" piece of DP was attached the gift card had a place to slip in.

The Details:
Stamps: Penelope and Juniper - Sweet Novmeber, Any R Holiday Greetings - both from All That Scraps
Paper: Cosmo Cricket, Very Vanilla (SU), White for image (Copic XPress)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Antique Linen, Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Inks

Good luck and have fun!!
