Hi Everyone! I know it may seem like I have dropped off the face of the Earth, but I have just been living in another time...sort of! Last weekend (and next weekend) is the Renaissance Festival here and I have a booth with several of my friends so I spent all weekend in the 16th Century! Between the two weekends of Faire I am busily sewing my fingers off to replenish my inventory, so I apologize for not being around to visit and leave comments! I did find the time to make a card for the All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge. This week it is to use buttons and ribbon. I just had to play with one of the new Sweet November stamps - Penelope and Shelly! They are so cute!
Stamps: Penelope and Shelly - Sweet November, AmyR Beach Sentiments - both from All That Scraps
Paper: My Minds Eye, Vintage Cream and White (Papertrey Ink)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Hair: R81,R83,R85 w/RV21,RV23,RV25 over them
Misc: Buttons (Basic Grey), Ribbon (PTI), Corner Rounder (SU)
If you would like to play along with us, you can link your creation at the All That Scraps Challenge blog using Mr Linky by 10PM EST next Tuesday. You will also need to use one of the MANY stamps sold at All That Scraps to be eligible for the prize.
I thought I would leave you with a picture of my daughter in the costume I made for her and me in my very old costume that I didn't have time to replace like I wanted to because I made her a new one!
Thanks for stopping by!
You two are some right pretty wenches, lol! Great costumes, I can't believe you made them :0)
LOVE this card, the layout is so great, I'd never think of something like that. The colors are fab too and those lil' mini buttons are adorable!
LOVE this Traci...Those new stamps of Amy's are just ADORABLE!!! Loved seeing you and your daughter in costume...Wow looks like a lot of work!! Love them.....Thanks for sharing!
Awesome card, Traci! I love the design and fun paper background, Penelope is too cute with the pink hair too!
Thanks for sharing the pics of your daughter and you, you gals look amazing! Your daughter looks to have a higher station in life than you with her beautiful brocades, but I like the peasant look too! ;)
CUTE summery card, Traci! LOVE her pink hair, and all the buttons!
I almost used this same floral print! It is perfect for Penelope and Shelly... I love the names Amy gave these images. The pink hair is so "strawberry shortcake" cute! I have a collection of the SS dolls from when our daughters were little... I just never think to do "other color" hair! It is so cool though when you do it! Love all the buttons in your borders and the polka dots...So sweet!
