My First Christmas Card of the Year!!

Hi Everyone!! I know I haven't been very consistent this week with the posts...I am stamping, but I think I am being a little more detailed than I usually am (or maybe just slower!) The cards are certainly taking a lot longer than usual!!

This week I decided to participate in the Christmas Stamping All Year Long challenge! I thought this was a great idea when I saw this blog, but it has taken me until now to try my hand at it!

The top piece of cardstock (Not Quite Navy) has been distressed with Choc Chip, embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder, then a SU white Craft pad was rubbed over the texture. I used an EK Success tree border punch with Choc Chip cardstock in the middle of the card. The trees have liquid applique puffed up on them for snow. The little deer is a Martha Stewart punch, as are the snowflakes popped up in a circle behind Anya. The snowflakes have Star Dust stickles on them!

Other Details:
Stamps: Snow - The Greeting Farm, Sentiment - Retired SU
Paper: Basic Grey Figgy Pudding, Not Quite Navy, Choc Chip - SU, White -PTI
Copics:
Skin: R00,E00,E11,R20
Hair: E21,E25,E27,E29
Clothes: E21,E25,E27,E29, B01,BG45, B95,B97,B99

Thanks for stopping by!

Hey Traci!! I'm sorry I'm a bit behind on my commenting. Argggh! My life schedule has been messed up with my having to drive my daughter to school . . .I'm not accustomed to the 50 mile one way drive each day.

Well, I'm here finally and oh, it was all so worth it! Your card is GORGEOUS! My goodness, you sure know how to color those Anyas. . .you really make her look spectacular. You did a wonderful job with the sketch. . .I love your card. Thank you for playing in our Christmas challenge and I hope you'll stop by and play again!
