Holiday Fox Allure

I have a habit (I can't make up my mind if it's a good habit or a bad one...) of deciding to color an image without getting any info on it. What I mean by that is I don't look at the original art to see how the artist colored it and if I don't remember the name of it, I don't look at that either until afterwards. So, when I started this I thought "Oooh, I really want to make a Christmas card with this gorgeous wolf image." (Totally off topic, but I am currently reading this Young Adult werewolf series right now, where the trigger to "shift" is cold weather not the full moon.) Anyway, I finished it up and then saw the stamp is called "Fox Allure"! When I showed it to my DH he said,"Of course it's a fox!" But he did agree it could look like a very dainty wolf!

I colored the image with Copics and added a little stickles for sparkle. I painted the chipboard snowflakes with Pewter Crackle paint first and then added some stickles on top after the paint had dried.

The Details:
Stamp: Fox Allure (ching chou kuik Plate 64) Sentiment from Holiday Collage Sheet (Plate 50) - both from Sweet Pea Stamps
Paper: Echo Park, Oceans Tide (Papertrey Ink), White for image (Copic XPress)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Copics:
Skin: E000,E00,E11,E13,R00,R20
Hair: E43,E44,E47,E49
Clothes: R59,RV69,RV99,R24,R29,R39
Fox: W0,W1,W3,C1,BG72,BG75
Background: C1,C3
Misc: Frosted Lace and Stardust Stickles, Maya Road Chipboard Snowflakes, Brushed Pewter Distress Crackle Paint, Hat Pin and Beads (Retired Stampin Up), Ribbon (Taylored Expressions), Clear Stardust gel pen

Traci, that is just beautiful! I love your take on it and don't know how the artist rendered it but I'm afraid you will have spoiled me for that one anyway. Great layout of everything too. That werewolf series sounds intriguing! Take care!

Hey I wasn't for sure waht it was either and I too had in mind to create a Christmas card out of her. If your like me you have soooooooooooo many stamps and not enough time to create with them all. So I am going to have to think outside of the box and use some of my Halloween images for a non Halloween card. I hope you had a great Halloween. Oh so let me get back to your GORGEOUS card.
Traci, there are not too many people who I admire their coloring.. I mean alot of people color beautifully, but everytime I see one of your creations my mouth drops!!! Your coloring inspires me so much!!! I love all the details you add to each and every image and how much they come to life.
This card is beautiful and I don't think I can hold up to this so if I make a Christmas card with this image don't look for it to look anywhere as good as yours!!!
Hugs:)
