Club Anya Saturday Sketch

Hello! While I was on vacation, I had no internet access but I did bring a small selection of my Copics with me, some images I had stamped up, and some DP (I know it is crazy, but I can't seem to color without DP for inspiration. I like to think that it is because there are so many possibilities, but maybe I am just not imaginative enough!) Anyway, I came home with a few colored images, but no completed cards.....luckily, Pam has another wonderful sketch for Club Anya's Saturday Sketch challenge!

I made the "Sk8tr" paper by first coloring a piece of paper with my Copics, shading from red to orange to yellow and back again. I then stamped with the SK8TR sentiment in Versamark ink and embossed with clear. Finally, I rubbed black ink all over it! Cool, huh?! The dots across the back and around the edge of the oval are made with black Scribbles (an acrylic paint meant for use on fabric). I had intended to use lots of little black brads and had even punched the holes, but I discovered I had far fewer brads left than I thought!

The Details:
Stamp: Later Sk8tr, sentiment from My Guy Ian - both from The Greeting Farm
Paper: Bo Bunny, Real Red (SU), White (Papertrey Ink)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Black Soot Distress Ink, Versamark Clear
Copics:
Skin: R00,E00,.E11,R20
Hair: E44,E47,E49,C9
Clothes: R24,R29,R39,B91,B93,B95,C0,C1,C3,Y15,Y17,YR04
Background and Skateboard: R24,R27,YR04,YR07, Y15,Y17
Misc: Spellbinders Oval and Scalloped Ovals Nestabilities, Scribbles Paint, Foam Tape, Clear Embossing Powder

Thanks so much for visiting me today!

Traci I love the background paper you created, it really amkes this card pop!! I hardly ever pick out my paper first... I jsut love to color so I'll color an image then loo forever for some DP to match!! Every once in a while I'll pick the DP first!! I love to color on my breaks at work so I'll bring some images and a hand full of markers and color to pass my time!! I have so many images colored or half colored.. now if only I have a month off I could make cards with all of them!!lol!!
