All That Scraps Challenge - Cracked Glass

Hello! You may have already seen over at the All That Scraps Challenge Blog that the challenge this week is to used the "Cracked Glass" technique on your creation. Cracked Glass always makes me think a little vintage, so I decided to color one of the new Sweet November Mermaids in "sepia" tones so it would maybe look like an old photo.

The Details:
Stamp:Fathom Calmsea (Sweet November), AmyR Summer Sentiments - both from All That Scraps
Paper: DCWV, Dark Chocolate and White (Papertrey Ink)
Ink: Memento Brown, Antique Linen and Walnut Stain Distress Inks, Versamark
Copics: E000,E00,E30,E31,E33,E25,E27,E47,E49,E50
Misc: Fiskars Corner Punch, Ultra Thick Embossing Powder
, Liquid Pearls

I hope you will get a chance to join us in the challenge this week! There is a prize given out each week and all you need to do to be eligible is to use one of the MANY stamps sold at All That Scraps and link your creation to the ATS Challenge Blog by 10PM EST next Tuesday!

Fantastic sepia colouring Traci!! I love this. She seems perfectly vintage to me and I love the dots on the background adding to the whole aged feel. I'm definitely gonna give this one a go - been meaning to have a go at the cracked glass technique for a little while now. xxx

Oh my Traci!! Your card is just amazing! I have to tell you I never really understood why anybody would use this technique... until now. I think your image absolutely looks like an old picture and I love how you've colored it, and for the first time ever I think the broken glass actually adds something to the card. Absolutely stunning and I may just decide to give this a try, thank you for being a big inspiration once again :).

I bow to the master yet again... I cannot truly describe just how amazing I think this card is Traci! The way you colored Fathom in the sepia tones, the cracked glass and the cool frame you created all tell a wonderful story together (I can just imagine this hanging in some ancient study with a treasure map hidden behind her, LOL)! You are awesome! :)
